Capital Area Testing Specialists (CATS)
CATS is a regional satellite group of the Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals. It is a support group that serves district test coordinators for school districts in the Region XIII (Austin) area. There is no cost or membership fee for CATS but we encourage district testing coordinators to join TSNAP.
We meet four times a year. Our meetings are held in conjunction with the TSNAP TETN teleconferences. They are informal share and exchange meetings that target the issues and needs of those in attendance.

CATS gives you an opportunity to discuss your testing issues with other testing coordinators, to share how you have solved testing issues in your district, and to network with other testing coordinators who really understand what you are dealing with. We are always ready to share what we have learned about state testing and willing to share our locally developed district PowerPoints and other testing resources with each other.
